Teams Training Company Technical Report
I took part in a 2 day seminar at MTA. I was put in a group with several of my classmates. We were taught about the Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) program. This was headed by Dawn Champnelle we learned how to process information into charts and tools. We were given a an example problem to help us understand how to solve using the PDSA approach.
After the Seminar my group and I were assigned to try and fix a problem for a company. The company we attended was RJG Injection Molding. We worked there for 3 days applying the PDSA method to the companies current problem that they gave us. After we created all of our charts and tools we presented our findings to them employees and the management there.
After the presentation we created a report by taking the charts/tools we created and computerized them. The report is attached below.

Skills
_English Skills utilized:
- Demonstrate flexibility in using independent and collaborative strategies for planning, drafting, revising, and editing complex texts.
- Revise drafts to more fully and/or precisely convey meaning—drawing on response from others, self-reflection, and reading one’s own work with the eye of a reader; then refine the text— deleting and/or reorganizing ideas, and addressing potential readers’ questions.

- Write, speak, and use images and graphs to understand and discover complex ideas.

responsibilities, posing relevant questions, giving and following
instructions, acknowledging and building on ideas and contributions of
others to answer questions or to solve problems, and offering dissent
courteously.
- Schedule time to meet task/project deadlines.
- Work without close supervision.
- Respect rights and property of others.
- Identify and define problems/issues
Justification
A lot of time was spent in this project. Most of the time the team members were working alone. We all needed to have good communication skills because we needed to know who was working when. This required a sufficient amount of knowledge of Microsoft word and formal writing.
