Trends and Graphs
This project involved using excel and understanding how the atomic number and ionization energy related to each other. The atomic number and atomic radius also related to each other, this was done with the first twenty elements of the Periodic Table.
Skills
- How is an atomic radius calculated?
- Interpret the group trends.
- Interpret the periodic trends.
- Define ionization energy.
- Interpret the group trends.
- Interpret the periodic trends.
- Explain the variation in ionization energies.
- Graph the specific trends to show patterns.
- Compare/contrast the trends and note relations.

Justification
I learned a lot more about excel than I knew before. I also saw how the relations between ionization, atomic radius and number affect each other. Below are the graphs I created in excel showing the relations of the above terms.
